ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
product forecasts and item life cycle management to ensure MS Store
can realize our revenue and profit goals. Demonstrated
by achieving an In Stock Percentage
of 99.0%, and a mark-down rate of no more than 9%.
and maintain the 6 month rolling forecasts for a given product category (PC's
, PC Accessories
). This forecast will be revised and analyzed weekly.
improving forecasting techniques, method, and approach.
and track key forecasting KPI's
, such as forecast and mix accuracy, on a monthly basis.
closely with the MS Store Merchant
on assortment decisions to effectively manage sku set up, pricing, and End
customer returns rates by product. Partner
with the Merchant
to ensure our returns allowances are reasonable and are effectively being maximized.
closely with MS Supply Chain
team to ensure 99.0% In Stock Percentage
metric at a sku/outlet level.
and analyze all data pertinent to reflect impact of promotions, pricing changes, seasonality, New Store Openings
, and other factors to develop continually-improving future forecasts.
and utilize best practices (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts
recommended adjustments to forecast based on changes in demand and market trends.
with Supply Planning
team to develop DOH
targets based on current product performance and allocation practices when necessary.
the product's lifecycle in the POS
updates required as necessary at a sku/outlet level.
closely with the Planogram
team to detail the start & end of each product's lifecycle and product placement.
with fulfillment team on a weekly basis to ensure that customers are meeting their forecasted targets for the month.

- 6-8+ years of demand planning, or related experience, within a Retail
experience with demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues
experience working directly with vendors, merchants, and supply chain organizations.
