community and nurture the franchise.
The Minecraft Product Marketing Manager
will work on product marketing plans for the console across all aspects of marketing including digital and retail software programs, licensed merchandise, strategic partnerships, and consumer events. This role will collaborate closely with our Production
, Business Development
, PR, Finance
, and Studios
leadership teams to grow Minecraft
into one of the top global entertainment brands. The candidate will create a unified development and marketing vision for the product, working closely with internal development teams to hone product design and feature prioritization with a thorough incorporation of consumer and market needs. The candidate will help develop forecasts, create consumer value proposition and positioning frameworks based on in-depth target consumer understanding and validation. The candidate is creative and effective at optimizing results through owned, earned and paid marketing channels. This position will also guide the lifecycle of product strategy, from long-range portfolio and franchise planning to identify market opportunity and feature prioritization, up through brand extension, partnerships and data analysis. o 6+ years of business and consumer marketing/PR experience across large scale consumer brands
