The Customer and Market Research team serves the company's core businesses, based at our HQ in Redmond, WA. We are close to and in constant contact with our business partners and our work has global reach and impact. Deliver satisfaction and loyalty measurement program leadership through key stakeholder engagements and research-based insights:
o Manage a rich portfolio of relationship/satisfaction intelligence among Microsoft - channel partners
o Improve the Company's foundational knowledge for channel relationship management
o Provide insights for Microsoft's partner narrative, integrating key trends like Consumerization of IT and the Cloud
o Consult with other key partner marketers and decision-makers as needed
Be one of the Company's thought leaders for relationship measurement:
o Deliver subject matter expertise for key Company-wide relationship measurement initiatives
o Develop a deep understanding of how to plan, build, use and land audience experience measurement
o Create repeatable best practices for developing subject-matter expertise on topical areas

Preferred Skills and Experience

Polished communications, storytelling and presentation skills including comfort with executive audiences.
Adept at the use of powerful visualization tools to build effective reports and presentations that bring insights to live through data visualization.
Strong project management expertise with the energy and willingness to evaluate current programs and take them to the next level.
Expert Analyses capability with traditional and non-traditional market research and business intelligence.
Strong business acumen and ability to derive strategic business implications from disparate forms of research.
A strong passion for technology and consumer technology trends
Critical thinking skills (e.g., the ability to conceptual frame problems and to identify creative solutions).
Experience conducting & managing multi-faceted market research programs including study design, vendor management and project management.
The ideal candidate may also possess an MBA, MS or related graduate degree.
The ideal candidate has 5 or more years of recent experience researching segments like consumers and enterprises...with preference toward technology products including software, services and devices.

Experience Required

A Bachelor's Degree in marketing, social sciences, business or related field
3-6 years of market research or business analysis/consultation experience
Excellent program management expertise and a Demonstrated Quality philosophy
