We are looking for a strategic, forward thinking passionate social media marketer to lead the Social and Fan strategy for our First Party Hardware products including Microsoft Surface and Microsoft Band. You will own and drive the programs that deliver on this strategy including overseeing execution, measurement and reporting of social media marketing campaigns and social activations for Devices and Studios Integrated Marketing including campaigns for First Party hardware. Partner with integrated marketing creative leads, web, media, Consumer Engagement, PR, consumer insights and global product marketing to drive and develop social campaigns and social media extensions. Work collaboratively with international subsidiaries to deliver global social programs and content that meet regional and local business and marketing objectives. Partner with social media agencies in delivering social content and campaigns that include apps, videos, message posts, offers and more. Role Responsibilities:
o Develop, implement and project manage social media campaigns and social activations across owned and earned social channels, relevant paid media opportunities and across multiple digital screens. Coordinate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness.

o Manage day-to-day activities in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs and seeding content (video, message posts, apps, etc.).

o Develop and maintain a specific social media editorial calendar integrated across PR, Integrated Marketing and Product Marketing to ensure consistency with marketing goals and to leverage synergies across marketing efforts.

o Work with social media and agency partners to deliver a social media content strategy, aligned with the social media editorial calendar and social media campaigns, and produce and secure all content required for social media campaigns and social activations, including video, apps, message posts, etc.

o Partner with global marketing communications functions (creative, media, Consumer Engagement), as well as web, PR, events, retail and global product marketing teams.

o Partner with global and subsidiary marketing managers to ensure social asset alignment and on-time delivery.

o Actively "listen" to the social media community on a daily/weekly basis, analyzing and interpreting results to drive social media campaign optimization. Produce detailed performance reports across all social media campaigns and programs.

o Be a passionate advocate for our fans and followers ensuring we give them the most relevant, engaging and "worth their while" content via owned channels.

Requirements:
o 3-5 years progressive experience in social media marketing at a recognized interactive agency or with a leading CPG, entertainment or consumer brand. Social media experience in entertainment or hardware (games, music, video/tv, consumer technology) a plus.

o Strong track record of managing and executing high visibility social media campaigns and social activations with proven experience and strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram etc.) and how they can be leveraged for different scenarios and against different strategies.

o Solid project and time management skills and proven experience in managing multi-million dollar social campaign production budgets effectively and efficiently.

o Strong understanding of social research, metric and KPIs with the ability to drawn insight to strengthen social strategy and plans.

o Proficient in social listening tools and measurement techniques, with hands on experience in both.

o Proven ability to operate successfully in a highly matrixed organization across multiple groups and business owners.

o Must have the ability to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business.

o Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships. Including presenting to senior management.

o Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.
