The Xbox team within Microsoft Devices envisions, creates and manufactures the award winning Xbox gaming and entertainment platform. The Xbox Kinect and Accessories team is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the development of XBOX Accessories products. Candidates must be self-motivated with a track record in designing and developing analog, digital and embedded designs for high volume consumer electronics market. The successful candidate will have a track record of leading a small team of electrical engineers working on various programs. In addition, the idea candidate will have experience designing audio products. This will include audio component selection, design for audio systems, characterization and working with the audio team to deliver a successful design. The successful candidate will not only own and complete program deliverables, but will also help their team do the same by providing technical, program and personal leadership.

Target Qualifications
BSEE required, MSEE desired
Excellent project technical leadership skills, with proven personnel management competency.
12+ of experience designing, implementing, validating and shipping products of medium to hiplexity and volume.
Experience with audio design. Understanding design for high SNR, low THD, amplifier fundamentals, driver and microphone principles.
A solid understanding of core engineering principles, circuit design and analysis is required.
Demonstrated experience in integrating with cross functional groups including Acoustical, EE, FW, ME, optics and software, internally and externally.
Experience in board level circuit design (transmission lines, SI, EMI, ESD), prototype, bring up and debug.
Experience with PCB board design and tools, and ability to oversee PCB layouts are a must.
Experience with EMI, ESD testing for regulatory compliance.
Experience in design for manufacturing, assembly and test are required.
Strong communication skills and must be able to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
Domestic and international travel is required.
