Key Responsibilities
Your purpose is to support the growth of each of your team members to realize their full potential, so that they can help our customers do the same. You will report directly to the Store Manager and will oversee role, product, demo, and sales learning for all team members in your store. You will also work with the Market Learning leader who will help you drive both the corporate and market priorities to ensure alignment with overall strategic objectives.

- Drive execution and readiness of all learning initiatives (ex. product launches, sales skills, etc.).
- Promote the Microsoft Store culture, mission, and values.
- Partner with HQ Learning Team to understand and execute learning priorities.
- Maintain a superior level of knowledge of devices and services that we carry in store.
- Deployment of new learning material and support team readiness prior to launches.
- Lead daily team learning workshops before or after business hours.
- Assess the product and service knowledge, skills, and capabilities of each team member.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one check-ins with each team member to mentor and assess progress.
- Coach team members on sales skills and habits after analyzing sales results.
- Consult with management team to help Develop action-plans to get team members to their next level of progress.
- Provide on-the-floor sales and product coaching after customer interactions.
- Help team members navigate product category expertise paths
- Oversee the learning experience and mentorship for new-hire and promoted team members.
- Act as the go-to for product and service learning support for all team members.
- Connect team members to the right learning tools and resources as needed.
- Report team learning progress through the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ensure team is 100% compliant with all compliance learning modules.
- Teach team members how to execute demos and experiences throughout the store.
- Oversee the set-up and upkeep of all demo experiences.
- Own Personal Training and Workshop readiness and execution.
- Support the development of a team of Personal Trainers and Workshop presenters that can deliver outstanding sessions.
- Review and report learning metrics that drive performance results.
- Learn yourself so that you can continue to develop others.

Qualifications & Experience

- 3-5 years of retail leadership experience in a consumer electronics and/or high-end environment.
- 3-5 years in a people development role as a teacher, mentor or coach.
- 3-5 years of product demo and selling experience.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft products (Windows, Office, Xbox, Windows Phone, Surface, and services).
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Have the ability to work your regularly scheduled shift, travel and be mobile throughout our stores, and be able to lift products with or without assistance.
