The System Engineering team within Large Screen Devices (LSD) has an immediate opportunity for a Hardware Test Lab Manager. We are looking for a highly-driven, exceptionally talented Lab Manager to manage an established HW Test Lab, direct lab technicians, verify project priorities, support entire Lab Infrastructure while continually identifying opportunities for improvement. As a successful candidate, you will contribute to Lab modifications, upgrades, technician training and complete lab infrastructure efficiency. Ensure execution according to accepted procedures for consistency, accuracy and timeliness of delivery. Use independent judgment to provide tactical solutions for immediate issues/needs, contribute to risk management, and participate in the development and clarification of expectations, scope, and scale to achieve shared objectives and minimize redundancy. You use metrics to gather and provide feedback to your team, and you understand the concept of agility and look for opportunities to evolve processes, services, and solutions to improve the partner and internal group experience.
You have demonstrated the ability to establish connections with partners and internal groups to ensure the development of relationships and open channels of communication, understanding of partner and internal group experiences and requirements to identify priorities and ways to improve satisfaction, performance, and the experience. You are highly motivated and enjoy bringing process and structure to your team as a tool to help drive team success. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in process thinking, driving for results, operational excellence, flexibility, collaboration, as well as a passion for customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Requires 5 years' experience as an Electronic Technician or Electrical Engineer, preferable in an electronic product development lab environment
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills with a systematic and structured approach to solution design
Passion for customers, technology, and Xbox games
Proven track record of collaborating effectively with partners
Excellent oral and written communication skills Allocate/manage project space requirements
