Microsoft's Large Screen Devices Hardware teams consist of progressive, diverse, and exceptionally creative professionals who design, test and manufacture some of the best-loved entertainment devices in the world. Our teams ship tens of millions of hardware products every year including the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Kinect, a full accessories lineup, and much more. Microsoft is the destination for the brightest minds in entertainment device design.

Our team is responsible for partnering with external partners to enable exciting experiences for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms. For this role we are looking for a business analyst to be a key contributor in supporting the Xbox HW group. This position involves providing business analysis and reporting execution in relation to the portfolio of licensed partners for several lines of business (i.e. Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Scope and decision making include:
1. Providing support to the team's business manager with preparation of monthly/quarterly reports and spear-heading various special projects
2. Royalty Coordinator - manage all the royalty processing and reporting from all our partners.
a. Act as single point of contact for our partners for all things related to Royalties
b. Manages and processes Royalty Report Rhythm and ensures that 100% of deadlines are met
c. Act as liaison between Partners and Americas Operation Center (AOC)
d. Maintain Royalty Reporting Tool
e. Executes Royalty Budgeting and Forecasting cycles (i.e. Forecast creation, submitting input to Finance, generate forecasting views for leadership team)
f. Maintains documentation of the Royalty Process
3. Contract Coordinator - manage all the contracts processing and required filling
a. Maintains all Partners Agreements according to legal team (LCA) requirements
b. Design, create and maintain Contract One Pagers and summary reports
c. Manages the agreement termination process (i.e. identify and recommend which agreements to terminate, puts together termination letters)
d. Documents the "Contract Lifecycle Process"

Strong business, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Understand financial rhythm-of-business (budgeting and forecasting, fiscal year vs. calendar year, monthly and quarterly reporting cycles)
System skills
a. Advanced MS Excel (Pivot tables, Lookup formulas, If statements, Power Pivot)
b. Intermediate/Advanced MS PowerPoint
c. MS SharePoint
d. MS Word
e. MS Outlook
f. MS Internal Tools (NDA+, Docusign, MyOrder, DealPoint)
Preferred knowledge of MSFT finance rhythm-of-business and tools (MS Sales, Mercury)
Good interpersonal awareness
Attention to details and proven track record contributing to team operational precision and
Passion for entertainment and gaming products and experiences.

BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or Accounting required
3-5 years of demonstrated work experience in Business, Finance or Accounting

The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work within deadlines and deal with ambiguity. The position will involve frequent contact with all team members and external partners. The successful candidate will work to ensure projects are completed in a timely and high caliber fashion, as well as to continuously improve the team's ability to deliver business excellence to our internal and external partners.
