MDG- Microsoft HoloLens Team is continuing to revolutionize Consumer Electronic Devices. The Team that incubated Kinect and profoundly redefined the way people interact with technology is forming a product development team to change the world again! We are a growing team of experienced device product developers, working in a startup environment on redefining experiences with epic technology innovation.

We are developing ground-breaking hardware, software and experiences across computer vision, machine learning, human-computer interaction, and image and video processing, networking and graphics. We will transform our ideas into reality through shipping a first-to-market product.

We are looking for a highly-driven, exceptionally talented Lab Manager to manage an established Hardware Lab. As a successful candidate, you will contribute to lab modifications, upgrades, technician training and complete lab infrastructure efficiency. The qualified candidate will be driving projects across the HoloLens organization to contribute to the success of the projects we are developing within the lab. This position requires strong organization skills, creative thinking and good communication. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks is a must for this position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

o2 plus years running a lab of technicians
oStrong and demonstrated project management skills
oExperience in engaging with and managing external partner test and development teams
oStrong written and verbal communication skills.
oOrdering experience
oInventory management experience.
oBudget management experience.
oAbility to write test procedures, and reports
oProject Management certification or equivalent industry experience


ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

Hardware reworking skills.
