This is the opportunity to join one of the most dynamic and exciting groups in Microsoft. Microsoft's Devices and Studios marketing team is looking for a Global Senior Site Manager to continue to build and grow to bring to life the incredible games and console story of Xbox in the digital space. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, strategic, detail-oriented site manager who is motivated to move the site forward into a next generation destination, and to engage and excite Xbox fans. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring that meets and exceeds business benchmarks, and is continually optimized to drive the balance between engagement and revenue KPI's.

If you understand and love web technologies, digital marketing, creating engaging next generation web experiences, analyzing data to deliver an optimal fan experience, and web production methodologies then you could be the right person for this job. The Senior Site Manager will work closely with teams throughout Xbox to define marketing objectives, develop a programming calendar that aligns with larger business goals, prioritize competing marketing programs, and drive the kind of engaging consumer programs that fans have come to expect from Xbox. They will work closely with the publishing and development teams to help define future marketing requirements for the digital experiences and participate in developing long-term plans for the sites. Finally, the Senior Site Manager will have to be able to work well within a globally matrixed organization. You will need to have the business acumen and people management skills to ensure that Xbox and its business goals are well represented in markets around the world and within Microsoft marketing and communications groups.

Position Responsibilities:
Define and develop a set of business goals and marketing objectives for online experiences for Xbox, and define how online experiences will align with other digital touchpoints.
Identify business needs and marketing objectives, and translate them into a desired set of features and functionality. Work with the Development team as a key stakeholder in the product roadmap for the site.
Serve as a single point of contact for marketing activities that require digital elements to be deployed on Drive and develop the online experience strategies, including managing agencies in the creative development and execution.
Responsible for site analytics, metrics, optimization, and reporting back to marketing teams on the success of their initiatives in the digital space.
Work across business groups to develop and maintain an editorial programming calendar for
Work collaboratively with the Publishing/Content teams to keep the site current, fresh, and aligned with marketing calendars.
Work with Product marketing teams to bring portfolio of games, apps, services, and hardware to life on
Partner with brand, social, PR, direct, CRM and digital marketing teams to define the digital support for key brand and product beats
Lead global strategy and site vision with subsidiary marketing managers to ensure strategic alignment and on-time delivery of digital assets.
Define global site brand guidelines, reporting KPIs and help local markets and subsidiaries to refine processes and create efficiencies for updating the site in all markets.
Manage the day-to-day prioritization of the QA or production teams

7+ years managing large-scale web sites, including feature definition, editorial, design, and implementation.
Deep understanding of digital marketing and digital production. Proven experience delivering effective digital campaigns.
Able to effectively tell a story about Xbox and the related experiences it delivers,
Effectively communicate with and influence various stakeholders and levels within the organization
Experience with helping to translate marketing objectives and goals in requirements that can be interpreted by engineering and implemented.
Understanding of basic Content Management Systems and processes.
Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, and ability to generate, analyze and interpret traffic and engagement data.
Proven ability to operate successfully in a highly matrixed organization across multiple groups and business owners. Must have the ability to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple deliverables.

Able to prioritize and shuffle workloads in real time to meet a variety of stakeholder needs and deadlines.
BA/BS in communications, marketing or related discipline required.
Experience in gaming or entertainment is a big plus
