We are looking for a seasoned, energetic Executive Assistant to support/report-to the General Manager of the Customer and Market Research Team. We're looking for someone to partner with the leader to provide direct support and oversee the support for the approximate 95+ person organization. This position interacts with all levels within Microsoft, and reaches outside to external research partners.

Responsibilities will include:
Manage and maintain the General Manager's calendar on a daily basis to ensure accurate scheduling and organization. Make decisions on behalf of the GM to ensure meeting requests meet with time management priorities and performance objectives.
Manage domestic and international travel scheduling end-to-end including the proactive anticipation of logistics and itineraries.
Work closely with the team business manager and direct reports to deliver Rhythm of the Business processes, including quarterly business reviews, leadership meetings, marketing staff meetings, All-Hands meetings, etc.
Manage the headcount process for both teams covering approximately 95+ FTE and (using PO and Headtrax systems).
Schedule and help implement staff meetings, events and off sites; including agenda management, meeting logistics, and material preparation.
Arrange team morale events and/or broader division-wide events.

Desired skills and experience include:
5+ years of high-level/executive administrative support within Microsoft.
AA/BA or equivalent experience preferred.
Hands on working experience with MS products and tools including Outlook, Headtrax, Manager Self Service tool (MSS), MS Space, My Order, MSTravel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel & SharePoint.
Strong customer service approach, self-directed, assertive, with a positive attitude
Work experience supporting an executive level manager while navigating in a fast-paced environment
Detailed planning, organizational and time management skills
Careful attention to detail and follow-through
Effective communication/interpersonal skills
Ability to remove barriers, execute appropriately, and get things done
Proven track record of proactively managing a calendar
Agile and adaptive in challenging situations
Has sound/good judgment, ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Anticipate needs to successfully support customers and the business
Solution driven with ability to handle ambiguous situations
Work collaboratively with admin teams, be a resource and a team player
