This position is for an Electrical Engineer
to be part of the XBOX Accessories
development team. The team is responsible for new product design and cost reduction of accessories throughout the life of the products. The position involves successfully working closely with industrial designers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, test engineers, component engineers, and program managers.
The responsibilities of this position are focused on specifying, designing, implementing and verifying the product electrical design. This includes owning the part selections, schematic capture, PCB
, and cost analysis. The development process starts with requirements definition working with cross discipline team members. You will then be responsible for defining and evaluating the different solution options for functionality, mechanical/ID design, cost and risk, followed by developing the solution, implementing, verifying, releasing to manufacturing and supporting it in production.
This requires the ability to quickly learn, analyze and implement new interfaces and subsystems, break down complex issues and collaborate across cross functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. Must
be able to plan work, and work to a plan adapting as necessary in a rapidly evolving environment.
in Electrical Engineering
to seven years of experience designing, implementing, validating and shipping products of medium to hiplexity and volume.
-A solid understanding of core engineering principles, circuit design and analysis is required.
designing for battery powered systems with emphasis on low-power design techniques, battery technologies, and charging systems.
a good understanding of board design and tools, including high speed, system performance optimization, analog circuit, filters, regulators and digital design.
board level debugging skills and the ability to oversee the PCB
layout process are a must.
for manufacturing, assembly and test are required.
communication skills and must be able to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
