Microsoft is a world leader in the design of personal computer input devices. We are currently looking for a person with a passion for technology to drive test methodology development and product verification for PC peripherals. As a design verification engineer, the candidate will play a key role in architecting test processes, tools, and methodologies for use across Microsoft Hardware's product portfolio as well as bring new products to market by leading test and validation activity on fast paced multi-disciplinary product development teams.

Role and Opportunity
RF Design verification activities to design quality into our products. Activities include develop and execution test plans and procedures. Perform functional, stress, system, and other types of testing. Identification of test tool requirements, and participation in specification and design reviews. Must be able to compile test reports and communicate findings and suggestions across the organization. Find complex bugs, root cause and track them while recording and informing others of all appropriate and relevant info. Experience in Wifi, Bluetooth or cellular testing required.

Qualifications
BS, MS or PhD in EE required and/or 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
Expertise in using RF Test equipment.
Knowledge of Visual Basic, C/C++ or Lab View for automation of complex RF tests
Demonstrates strong design and/or test skills.
Demonstrates managing through ambiguity, and technical problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, leadership, verbal and written communication skills required.
Hands-on experience in the development of high-volume consumer electronic product is desired.
Demonstrated ownership of multiple sub-systems and/or launching multiple moderately complex to complex consumer electronic products.
