The Director, Worldwide Partner Profitability & Incubation role plays a highly visible role in leading a team responsible for developing and socializing cloud partner profitability and compete models across Microsoft's worldwide sales engines. You will play a critical role in partnering cross functionally to engage the Microsoft field sales organization as well as external Partner Advisory Councils (PACs) to educate and evangelize partner revenue performance for Microsoft cloud products across all segments. This includes a strong focus on the execution mode, evolution on the business model, influencing and working closely with the Microsoft business groups, sales field, and closely with the segment teams (SMB, CA, EPG) to orchestrate existing worldwide execution as well as the future of the business.
Primary responsibilities for this role include:

o Advance content and messaging regarding how partners can be profitable in the cloud with Microsoft. Evangelize this message through many communication tools and through direct partner engagement
o Work with the field to drive depth partner recruiting from competitive partner ecosystems and determine potential sources for new partnerships for a mobile first, cloud first market.
o Drive planning and implementation of usage/consumption strategy through partners
o Drive implementation and field roll out of the new Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program.
o Mature Azure selling model through Azure BDM team. Enable consistent field execution and sales growth.

Required experience for this role would include:
o Current knowledge, experience, and understanding of the cloud services, managed and unmanaged services, and the channel landscape
o Experience marketing to Microsoft partners
o Understanding of Microsoft field communities
o Ability to influence, create, lead, and execute strategy, and bring key stakeholders to an aligned vision
o Comfort in speaking at conferences and in executive briefings
o Flexible schedule to accommodate communications with teams around the world
