The growth in mobile devices, and in cloud-based applications are together driving a fundamental shift in how people get work done. IT is tasked with enabling greater productivity, in this cloud-first, mobile-first world, while at the same time protecting corporate assets.

Microsoft's strategy to put cloud and mobile first, puts us in a unique position to win in the Enterprise Mobility category and to continue to grow our Cloud and Enterprise (C+E) business. In C+E, we are bringing together a comprehensive solution across (1) Mobile device and application management (MDM) (2) Remote Desktop Services and VDI, and (3) Identity and access management and Information Protection.

In this role as Director of Technical Product Marketing Manager for Enterprise Mobility, you will be responsible for driving technical product marketing across our full portfolio. This is a rare, unique, and fun opportunity to lead a team in one of the hottest spaces in technology right now. Specific responsibilities include:
o Develop team and individual capability to advance our technical marketing in enterprise mobility
o Structure and direct the work of a team of technical product marketers
o Make our solution value proposition real throupelling technical content across all media
o Deliver industry leading product demonstrations for major events, including executive keynotes
o Engage and win-over influentials with excellent product advocacy, evangelism and thought-leadership
o Work with our engineering teams to close the loop on field, partner and customer product feedback
o Synthesize a deep understanding and point-of-view on competitor offerings in the space
o Drive technical readiness for the broader organization and teach them how to compete and win

The ideal candidate has a deep passion for technology, and a good understanding of the space. Domain expertize in the areas listed above is valuable, particularly in the area of identity and access management. The candidate will possess first-rate, hands-on, technical skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication. They will have established themselves as a proven leader on projects and across v-teams, and will be looking to either start or further develop formal team management responsibilities. Success in this role will require the development of strong working relationships and interactions with customers, senior executives, engineering teams, and other product & marketing groups across Microsoft.

Qualifications:
o 7+ years' of technology or software marketing experience required
o Proven ability as a product advocate / evangelist both small group and at scale
o Excellent analytical, problem solving, written, and verbal communications skills
o Successful track record of working collaboratively across multiple engineering and marketing teams
o Successful history of leading teams (or v-teams) and developing team and individual capability
o Technical Bachelor's degree preferred
