We've started that journey, are growing, and looking for passionate professionals who want to create, market and run this new experience with us

The Windows Store team is looking for a Marketing Leader to build and run the Windows App Category Management function and team for the Windows Store to achieve Windows engagement and monetization objectives through the integrated management of marketing and merchandising campaigns. The ideal candidate has digital or online business category management leadership experience, deep and data-driven product marketing and merchandising skills, consumer app and business software content expertise, an operations mindset, and proven ability to partner across internal engineering and sales organizations and external partners to source and market content.

Specific job responsibilities include:
Define apps category marketing and monetization strategy
Drive category content acquisition and engagement objectives.
Drive category financial performance objectives.
Manage Windows store apps category, experience, merchandising and store layout experience in over 230 markets.
Create, distribute and optimize marketing campaigns for third and first party apps and software content.
Manage a team of regional category, digital marketing, and business operations managers
Identify, source, onboard and publish new content and content offers.
Define and drive store and content capability and feature requirements to partner organizations to enhance user experience and business results.

As a qualified candidate you will need to demonstrate:
Mastery of digital marketing and merchandising strategy and tactics
Deep and passionate understanding of apps and software content and industry for consumers and business organizations.
Category management function expertise in assortment, offer management and portfolio planning.
Successful multi-function team management and leadership experience
Experience in operating in high volume and global scale environment
Ability to manage and optimize marketing campaign execution
Passion for and avid user of business and consumer applications (Windows and competitive platforms)

Professional Qualifications:
This individual should have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior digital marketing and category management leadership role. MBA preferred.
