The industry director is responsible for formulation and execution of integrated marketing and demand generation strategies across channels in priority verticals and geographies and in collaboration with an array of stakeholders, with the goal of achieving increased revenue, channel capacity and market share. Service Industries
include traditional professional services, building-related services, and media-related services. This person will articulate industry and vertical strategy and value propositions at the intersection of Microsoft
and Microsoft Dynamics
products and services, work with partner organizations to bring to market highly targeted solutions, and develop and execute go-to-market plans in coordination with product development, marketing, sales and operations. The industry director is responsible for the external image of Microsoft
with customers, partners, and industry trade groups and is also an internal leader for Microsoft
strategy, mentoring, sales, marketing, and partner relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:
* 10+ years experience in sales and/or implementation of operational systems for project-based service industries.
* 5-7+ years experience in software marketing and sales to large enterprises, business applications preferred.
understanding of medium to large enterprises from both practice development and management perspectives.
knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
products and/or competitive offerings.

level relationships and lead strategic initiatives at an executive level.
in presenting to large public audiences.

and sales guidance.

* Bachelor's Degree
is required, MBA
or Master's Degree
preferred, with relevant industry certifications a plus.
This position is geographically based in the United States
and domestic/international travel may range between 40-60%.
