Are you interested in building new organizational capabilities for a team whose mission is core to the company's consumer channels strategy?

The Category Management Community Director role will land business processes for the WW Category Management team and strategic direction in growing the capabilities of our field category managers across all lines of business.

The person in this role sits on the WW Category Management leadership team and is tasked with enabling our strategic priorities by increasing field competencies, integrating processes with other corporate stakeholders and leading the strategic approach in improving partner agreements with our accounts.

This role drives the following Key Accountabilities :

- Align WW Category internally with other Consumer Channels Group teams by organizing the around key internal and external milestones such as the Consumer Electronics Show, START and MGX.
- Increase our field category management capabilities through training, readiness, hiring, on-boarding and community oriented strategies.
- Lead a team tasked with improving processes and policies around WW retail distribution contracts and marketing programs and offers.

- Business savvy and ability to understand a diverse set of businesses to help the team meet or beat relevant business objectives and metrics.
- Strategic thinker with an ability to align leadership across various business goals and manage the overall LEI of the Category organization.
- Ability to empathize with the field and design processes and policies that make the field more efficient and successful.
- Excellent working relationship with key stakeholders in the CCG organization and related adjacent organizations
- Strong written and oral communication on performance and issues.
- Trusted advisor to the CCG leadership team

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Desired Experience :

Strong individual with a talent for articulating a complex business story precisely, succinctly and truthfully to senior leaders. Relevant consumer marketing experience in the retail channel or entertainment/technology fields.

Deep experience in working in highly matrixed teams. Broad skill set encompassing excellent marketing & relationship management capabilities with proven ability to collaborate well across functional groups and virtual teams to achieve specific business objectives. A self-starter who has well developed competencies in developing retail strategies that drive customers

Desired Technical/Functional Skills :

Proven success in leading cross-subsidiary teams with strong influencing skills. Analysis and issue resolution, market and customer insight, thoroughness & precision. Skilled in using productivity software (excel, ppt) to tell a complex business and consumer story well. A passion for consumer entertainment and productivity devices, software and accessories.

Minimum Qualifications :

10 years of experience in business development, category management and/or product planning. Consumer marketing or sales background or equivalent experience. Financial and/or analytical experience.
