This leadership role is responsible for Office 365 Trust and Information Protection marketing within the Office 365 Product Marketing group. The Office 365 Trust (security and compliance) marketing is some of the most important in winning vs our competition and driving higher Enterprise version product mix - giving it significant impact on the overall Office 365 business success. This Director is responsible for leading a team that drives the marketing for our Office 365 Trust Center, Information Protection and Compliance capabilities across Office 365. This team is responsible for the Security audience marketing for Office 365, as well as all general IT Pro and ITDM marketing related to information protection. This leader works closely with Engineering and C&E marketing to ensure a holistic information protection story across the MSFT Cloud offerings.
Specific responsibilities include:
Team Leadership. Coach a high performing team to hit commitments and steward thoughtful career planning with employees. Influence stakeholders across teams, embracing cross-boundary collaboration to influence peers and senior leaders.
Engineering partnership. Establish a high-impact partnership with the engineering teams accountable for information protection capabilities in Office 365. Drive product priorities based on customer and partner input, competitive insight and technical capabilities.
Information Protection marketing. Define and deliver the marketing approach for telling the end-to-end information protection story to our commercial customers.
IT Pro content and readiness. Ensure our Office 365 admins and IT Pros are training and ready to use our information protection capabilities.
Cross team partnership. Work closely with business planning to define our monetization strategy for the information protection capabilities. Partner with C&E on the holistic information protection suite that is included in and works with Office 365.
10+ years of technology marketing experience, software or online services marketing experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to derive data-driven insights and actionable results
Exceptional ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and influence without authority
Demonstrated ability work with engineering and establish high-impact partnership
