The Microsoft Worldwide Licensing and Pricing (WWLP) team is accountable for leading and orchestrating the product marketing teams, segments and field in global development and implementation of licensing business models that make it easy for customers to acquire, use, and manage Volume Licensing products and maximize Microsoft's long-term profitability. The WWLP Business Marketing Group (BMG) is responsible for landing and driving adoption of strategic Volume Licensing programs and licensing changes across Microsoft, our customers, and our partners.

The Next Generation of Volume Licensing (NGVL) is an ongoing initiative to transform the way our customers acquire our products and services. NGVL is a complete re-plat forming of the licensing business and encompasses changes to our Volume Licensing agreements, processes and the underlying IT infrastructure.

As Worldwide Volume Licensing Field/Partner Adoption Lead, you will own the landing and adoption of NGVL and other Volume Licensing initiatives across all Microsoft A13 areas and segments. Landing means, ensuring the Microsoft field sellers and management, partners and customers are ready for the rollout of the new licensing program and solutions. Adoption means, ensuring the new program is utilized at the agreed rate by our field sellers, partners and customers. Landing and adoption can impact all aspects of our business including Sales, Marketing, Operations and IT.
As Worldwide Volume Licensing Field/Partner Adoption Lead, you will lead a team of Regional Adoption Leads, Volume Licensing Manager (VLM) Community Lead and Readiness Lead. You will work closely A13 LT members, primarily with M&O, Segment and Partner Sales Leads to ensure Volume Licensing Managers have the right level of executive support and licensing priorities are well integrated within local priorities.
Main responsibilities include:
Participate in setting goals & objectives at WW scale and regionally for NGVL and other VL priorities.
Lead and guide the Volume Licensing Managers as Business Leaders in the field to effectively plan and execute against VL priorities and meet Scorecard Metrics and adoption goals
Manage ROB with A13 and Global Licensing Solution Partners (Insight, Software One, Comparex, Crayon, Dell and Soft line) to ensure full alignment at strategy and tactical levels. Track and report against success metrics and key milestones and implement Correction of Errors as necessary
Lead the development of Change Management Framework and plans for Subsidiaries and Partners and ensure successful rollout at A13 level and with top partners
Represent WWLP in front of the Microsoft subsidiary, Partners and Customers in for the specific VL initiatives. Participate in local events and conferences as needed.
In Corporate forums, represent the voice of the subsidiary, partners and customers.
As part of the BMG Leadership Team, contribute to the overall strategic direction of the team and its priorities.

10+ years of sales, business development or marketing experience. Having led field roles would be a plus.
Domain knowledge in the software or licensing solutions marketplace.
Working knowledge of the software/licensing partner ecosystem, plus familiarity with the Microsoft field structure.
Strong people and team leadership, drive for results, change management, cross-group collaboration, impact and influence, interpersonal awareness, communication and presentation skills.
Confidence collaborating with various business and technical leaders.
An undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent work experience is required.

This position will be based in Redmond, WA at Microsoft headquarters, with global travel expected to be approximately 25-30%.
