The Business Development Analyst will set new sales strategy and solution scenarios specifically targeted toward Marketing Decision Makers pain points, ensure the seamless alignment of marketing (e.g. products/SKUs, licensing, campaigns), sales (e.g. roles, compensation, enablement), services (e.g. services offerings, delivery model) and partners (e.g. selection, incentives) with and to this strategy by leading through the business aligned Business Analysts and WW EPG leadership.

In this role, the Business Development Analyst works across organizations including Business Groups, Services and the Enterprise Partner Group to ensure an integrated customer experience for the Chief Marketing Office within our Enterprise customer base. The Business Architect reports directly to the Director, Enterprise Solution Team and represents the team in work streams critical to effective business architecture design and execution across our products, our advertising business and services. This role will also have to invest a significant amount of time with customers and partners delivering this new solutions scenarios pitch and leading by example. This role will be responsible for leading the customer advisory board with key executive sponsors within Microsoft. The CMO advisory board is designed to bring Customers together to provide guiding principles and insights back to Microsoft to ensure the final suite of solutions we bring to market keeps to the needs of the Industry and our customers business needs.

Accountabilities are:
o Develop and continuously evolve Microsoft's Marketing Solution Sales strategy by aligning with Product Marketing, Services and Partners to create high value customer offerings.
o Drive end-to-end execution of the sales strategy, analyze results and drive continuous improvement to drive New Revenue growth.
o Lead, build and drive virtual team of stakeholders in the in order to meet scorecard and KPI targets and establish effective compete tactics by leveraging compete field resources

Demonstrable skills in the following areas are critical:
o The role requires 7+ years a combination of enterprise sales, sales management, business and marketing experiences with an inner knowledge of a CMO's rhythm of business and common business problems. A strong business consulting or process design background is helpful.
o Deep Solution Sales experience and experience in dealing with business decision makers.
oPrior experience in an enterprise marketing organization understanding the day in the life of a Marketing Decision Maker
o Well-developed ability to build and think in frameworks and processes acquired in an architect or business consulting role.
o Understanding of sales and service strategies.
oStrong ability to execute in a global, complex, and matrix environment. This includes excellence in impact and influence, cross-group collaboration and field community leadership.
o Strong executive engagement and communication skills to enable change across the org.
o Strong organization and communication skills
o Bachelor's degree required and MBA is ideal
o Approximately 20% International Travel.

This position is based at our Redmond WA Campus and this is mandatory. Microsoft does provide relocation assistance if relocation is/will be required.
