Regional Manager, Field and Partner Adoption

Come join the Field and Partner Adoption team in WWLP as Regional Manager, Field and Partner and play a critical role in transforming Microsoft's $45B+ commercial volume licensing business!

The Microsoft Worldwide Licensing and Pricing (WWLP) team is accountable for leading and orchestrating the product marketing teams, segments and field in global development and implementation of licensing business models that make it easy for customers to acquire, use, and manage Volume Licensing products and maximize Microsoft's long-term profitability. The WWLP Business Marketing Group (BMG) is responsible for landing and driving accelerated adoption of strategic Volume Licensing programs and licensing changes across Microsoft, our customers, and our partners.

The Next Generation of Volume Licensing (NGVL) is an ongoing initiative to transform the way our customers acquire our products and services. NGVL is a complete re-platforming of the licensing business and encompasses changes to our Volume Licensing agreements, processes and the underlying IT infrastructure.

As Volume Licensing Field/Partner Adoption Regional Manager, you will own the landing and adoption of NGVL and other Volume Licensing initiatives across EMEA, Asia or Americas. NGVL and new licensing offerings will impact all aspects of our business including Sales, Marketing, Operations and IT.
As Regional Manager, Field/Partner Adoption Lead, you will closely area and sub LT members, primarily with M&O, Segment and Partner Sales Leads to ensure Volume Licensing Managers have the right level of executive support and licensing priorities are well integrated within local priorities.
Main responsibilities include:
Lead and guide the Volume Licensing Managers as Business Leaders in the field to effectively plan and execute against VL priorities and meet Scorecard Metrics and adoption goals.
Manage ROB with area and sub stakeholders and top Partners (i.e. Insight, Software One, Comparex, Crayon, Dell, etc) to ensure full alignment at strategy and tactical levels. Track and report against success metrics and key milestones and implement Correction of Errors as necessary.
Represent WWLP in front of the Microsoft subsidiary, Partners and Customers in for the specific VL initiatives. Participate in local events and conferences as needed.
As part of the Field and Partner Adoption team, contribute to the overall landing strategy, and change management programs.

5+ years of sales, business development or marketing experience.
Domain knowledge in the software or licensing solutions marketplace.
Working knowledge of the software/licensing partner ecosystem, plus familiarity with the Microsoft field structure.
Drive for results, change management, cross-group collaboration, impact and influence, interpersonal awareness, communication and presentation skills.
Confidence collaborating with various business and technical leaders.
An undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent work experience is required.

This position will be based in Redmond, WA at Microsoft headquarters, with global travel expected to be approximately 25-35%.
