Cloud Computing is the next step toward ubiquitous and pervasive computing for the world. Microsoft Azure is our cloud computing platform used to build, host, and scale web applications and is a strategic focus for the company. Join the worldwide Azure team in the Developer Experience (DX) organization in recruiting key cloud software vendors (ISV's) to develop their applications on our cloud platform.

The DX team is looking for an Evangelism Manager who demonstrates exceptional leadership and management skills with a combination of business development and technical expertise. As a leader of the Azure team, you will be responsible for driving your team to identify and close Azure targeted apps. You will guide your team to work closely with the broader Microsoft teams including engineering, GTM and Marketing to engage our ISV partners and drive applications to market. You and your team will help partners build out their Azure practice by providing leadership to our sales organizations in identifying customer opportunities that will leverage the cloud and bringing Azure applications into production.

In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Recruiting, hiring, and retaining strong talent to build out your team
- Managing a high performing team and driving deployment of high
quality and top category ISV's
- Securing targeted app wins with key ISVs in your specified
- Delivering on win targets
- Ongoing evangelism of the full Microsoft Azure Platform
- Exceptional opportunity pipeline management with accurate
forecasting represented at bi-weekly pipeline reviews
- Creating Azure opportunity development plans compatible with overall
Microsoft account management strategies
- Accurately representing your business at executive business
- Delivering ongoing market and competitive insights to the business
- Developing a comprehensive training and readiness plan for your team

The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Enterprise business
development, software consulting or development
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business
drivers, and emerging trends
- Strong knowledge of Software as a Service business model and
implementation strategies
- Exceptional leadership skills and community building
- Proven record of growing new businesses and building technical
relationships with senior executives
- Results driven; strong analytical skills with exceptional verbal and
written communication
- Exceptional decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and
follow through
- BS/BA degree, MBA preferred

This individual will need to demonstrate success in developing growth strategies and transforming them into execution. This position also involves a large amount of exposure to senior management and requires the ability to communicate concisely and consistently.
