Microsoft's Enterprise and Partner Group (EPG) is looking for a highly motivated leader with a passion for business development, knowledge of the cybersecurity and data protection space, and drive to help identify and develop security business opportunities with our most important Alliance partners.

EPG is comprised of over 6000 enterprise sellers who work to ensure that Microsoft's largest customers realize the most value from IT investments. EPG's Redmond based HQ team is responsible for developing the strategies and sales enablers to support our partners and sellers to ensure predictable growth of our Enterprise business.
Within EPG, the WW Cybersecurity and Data Protection group is working to remove security as a barrier to commercial and public sector sales. To help achieve this goal the group is looking for a highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated success in business development to help drive success in joint security engagements with our key Partners.

Key accountabilities for the Cybersecurity and Data Protection BDM
* Developing strategy and plans to drive security solutions, collaboration and customer engagements through partners who sell into the enterprise
* Structuring partner offerings and plays that include solutions, marketing, sales, investment, and governance that align MS and partner interests and facilitate execution
* Identifying and quantifying opportunities to drive security solutions and engagements through leading Systems Integration (SI) partners
* Structuring deals with selected Alliances to execute on defined partner plays
* Collaborating with Alliance Managers to ensure deals land successfully in the EPG field and yield the expected results
* Acting as a trusted strategic advisor and contributor to EPG Business Architects and Business Groups on achieving growth through Enterprise Alliances for Cybersecurity and Data Protection initiatives.
* Designing go-to market value propositions that combine Microsoft and partner strengths
* Providing guidance to EPG leadership on Cybersecurity and Data Protection partner strategy

Key Success Criteria
* Successful development of partner solutions and engagements for Cybersecurity and Data Protection
* Successful development and support of deals with Alliance partners
* Securing commitment from Alliance partners that support EPG's goal to gain share in the market place
* Achieving targeted results of wins/deployments/devices through partners
* Evolution of Business Architect and BG collaboration and investment in partners selling into the Enterprise

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
A strong candidate will possess as many of the following skills and experiences as possible;
1. 10+ years of strong business development and/ or enterprise sales experience
2. Experience negotiating investments with partners and BGs
3. Strong understanding of Systems Integrator and Hardware OEM partners
4. Strong understanding of Microsoft's Cybersecurity and Data Protection sales strategy
5. Demonstrable understanding of the security landscape, and ability to drive technical discussions with partners
6. Experience landing programs and strategies on a global basis.
7. Experience engaging with senior executives
8. Exceptional problem solving and strategic thinking skills
9. Strong program management and communication skills
10. Proven competency to collaborate cross organizations, deal with ambiguity and driving impact without direct authority
11. Ability to quickly assimilate concepts from various sources and disseminate key findings to stakeholders.
