Do you enjoy being part of initiatives that drive transformational change to create huge upside for the company and its stakeholders? Are you the customer-centric entrepreneur that sees ambiguity as a development opportunity? Does driving the Cloud paradigm as the new standard for Microsoft excite you? Do you want to play a key role in helping Microsoft evolve to become the leading player in the Cloud market? Are you unencumbered by traditional old world approaches to selling software and ready to break us out of our past and lead us into our future? Are you interested in a position that is connected to sales, marketing, partner, engineering, licensing, services and almost every other part of the company that will enable you to build an incredible network? Then this might be the position for you!
The Enterprise Cloud market is seeing significant growth and is the single largest opportunity that Microsoft is positioned well to lead. The need to transform the approach to the market, our customers and partners as well as our internal cadence is a priority. We add more cloud services on a monthly basis, each with unique competitors, customer needs, opportunities and challenges. Enterprise customers are increasingly embracing the cloud but often struggle culturally and technically to move quickly to the cloud in all but brand new workloads.
To capitalize on this market opportunity, Microsoft is investing to further advance its position in the top segment of the Enterprise where customers' risk concerns outweigh cost considerations. In this segment, customers demand that Microsoft deliver its Server & Cloud technology products through a deeper solution focused engagement model spanning sales, services, support and partners. This strategy will also enable Microsoft to take share from players like Oracle, IBM, Amazon and Google.
The Business Architect is deeply involved in the setting of sales strategy, and in ensuring the seamless alignment of marketing (e.g. products/SKUs, licensing, campaigns), sales (e.g. roles, compensation, enablement), services (e.g. services offerings, delivery model) and partners (e.g. selection, incentives) with and to this strategy.
