We are looking for an experienced hardware design verification engineer. The qualified candidate will draw upon your experience in validating the embedded hardware and real time firmware/software to deliver world class high volume consumer products. The primary responsibility is to develop test cases for board level electrical and performance testing, including validating the electrical design against specifications, performing power/signal integrity, reset and timing measurements. The qualified candidate will work closely with development team and the rest of the test team, participate product testing frameworks design and develop the test cases to make sure100% correlation with design specifications and schematic. You will also need to involve in designing test tools and fixtures for test automation, set up the proper test environments, execute the test cases and properly report the test results.
Qualified Candidate must have track record in verifying/testing or designing embedded hardware devices for high volume consumer electronics products. You are expected to be very familiar with electrical power and signal integrity, PCB design and standard communication protocols such as USB, I2C, I2S, SPI, etc. Must have hand on experience in test environments and tools such as programmable power supply, oscilloscope, signal generator, data acquisition card, thermal chambers, etc. Strong experience in scripting language, LabVIEW programming and test automation are highly desired.
In addition, a successful candidate will have effective written and oral communication skills and very good cross-organizational collaboration skills, excellent technical knowledge including test process/case design and development.

Target qualifications:

- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 5+ year experience in designing and testing modern electronics hardware at component and device levels.
- Extensive experience in power sequence and analog circuit designing, testing and troubleshooting, proficient in using standard testing equipment.
- Proven capability to define successful test plans, procedures, and reports which drive product decisions
- Proven experience in test automation
- Demonstrated experience in integrating with cross functional groups including EE, ME, optics and software, internally and externally.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
Position requires international travel
