The WW Cyber Security and Data Protection team is looking for a passionate Technology Evangelist to drive a streamlined cyber vision across global sellers and key enterprise customers. As an elite member of this team, you will enable sales and service teams to evangelize Microsoft's vast portfolio of cybersecurity products and services.

The WW Cyber Security and Data Protection team focuses on unifying the cybersecurity story across Microsoft and the enterprise selling strategy around multiple principles including privacy, compliance, transparency, advocacy, and security. It is committed to help sales teams leverage their robust new cybersecurity foundation to increase sales driven specifically by Microsoft's security products and services. The group's primary priority is to develop an enterprise-focused plan around cybersecurity for commercial customers.

You will need to demonstrate deep knowledge of security, identify trends and business opportunities within technical audience segments including but not limited to enterprise, Public Sector, and Partner accounts, to lead the effort to engage these audiences to drive adoption of Microsoft's cybersecurity products and services. The position is accountable to not only the World Wide EPG teams, but will collaborate with the existing Product Groups, Engineering, Microsoft Consulting Services, and the Enterprise Partner Group.

The core role focuses on
1.) Assisting the sales team in engaging enterprise customers on why and how security is a key asset.
2.) Supporting sellers worldwide by increasing the depth of sellers' cybersecurity knowledge.
3.) Providing expert consulting on sensitive relationship and technology issues.
4.) Coaching on how to lead sales conversations about cybersecurity with enterprise customers.
5.) Engaging with Enterprise, Public Sector, and Partners in the arena of security, technical policy, and innovation.

Qualifications
7-10+ years of experience in the security industry is required.
Experienced communicator who can cast security in the language of the business, discussing Microsoft's security strategy to C-level executives and senior Security Industry representatives.
Experience in a global environment and be sensitive to different government sentiments towards Microsoft/American providers
A proven track record of success at senior management levels in a global technology corporation (preferably Fortune 500) or senior position focused on security.
Deep technical security knowledge and deep knowledge of business situations pivoted by industry, size of company, and degree of security maturity.
Demonstrated ability to deliver vision and strategy with collaboration and ground-level execution and sound business judgment.
Strategic thinking including ability to analyze industry trends and competitive landscape.
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or the natural sciences, related software engineering, or other technology-driven discipline or equivalent experience is required.
