Then consider this opportunity to join Microsoft Mobile Device Sales (MMDS), chartered with driving the alliance partnership with a major mobile operators across all of Microsoft's devices and services.
This role will lead the complex partner engagement and a virtual team of sellers, marketers and business development experts to build a world class partnership.
Sprint and its owner Softbank form one of the strategic Global Accounts. The Alliance Manager will work across Microsoft business units and marketing & sales teams identifying new business opportunities, securing resources and managing implementation projects.
Responsibilities: ? Identify new opportunities where Microsoft can help Sprint accomplish their strategic agenda. ? Develop and promote relationship between Microsoft and Sprint by defining high level objectives and specific implementation milestones, and developing and executing account plans to achieve them. Drive sales and marketing processes with Sprint, resulting in growth in the Sprint's purchases of Microsoft products, technologies and/or commercial services and their partnership satisfaction. ? Facilitate internal joint account management process as well as customer facing QBR process and general c-level engagement. ? Lead virtual internal team across all facets of the business (different groups/divisions) ? Lead business development activities with the partner as appropriate ? Work for the Global Account Client Director - supporting them with reporting and as customer advocate
Qualifications: ? 7-10 years of experience successfully selling and marketing technical products and services to and through service providers, preferably focused on engaging with cloud and hosting providers. ? Experience in indirect sales and partner channel management is essential. ? Experience with developing and executing across all aspects of a partner-led business, including product development and launch as well as building channel programs, plus an ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally. ? Experience closing complex sales and driving contract signature process with minimal management involvement highly desirable. Deep and broad knowledge of cloud markets (primarily IaaS and PaaS) and hosting segments also highly desirable. ? The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, project-oriented self-starter with the ability to transform challenging business problems into tangible action plans. ? Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and delivering business growth ? A bachelor's degree preferably in communication-related discipline, computer science, or equivalent.
