We are seeking qualified candidates for ECAD Librarian to drive and support various hardware projects at Microsoft Corporation. The successful candidate will be the primary focal point for leading library development activities, working very close to electrical engineers, Design for Manufacturing and Design for Testing teams, and component engineers to ensure high reliability of the library. Additionally, this candidate will contribute to the evolution of the design process and tools as our organization continues to grow and will be part of testing and evaluating new tools or tools features.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and maintaining the CAD library including PCB and schematic symbols and managing CAD data in the PDM and PLM system.
Lead and support ongoing work inside Microsoft and support outsourcing as necessary.
Responsible for following current design process and contributing to improving current design process.
Support schematic development by debugging netlist issues and able to support users with issues related to project structure and working close to electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and component engineers.
Application configuration and conducting training on internal process and tools

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3-5 years working knowledge of design flow process using the following tools Cadence DEHDL, Allegro,
orCAD, Valor Enterprise 3000.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with CAD libraries.
Design for manufacturing and test by following internal DFM/DFT guidelines, IPC and/or ANSI standards are required.
Experience in maintenance of CAD tools is a plus.
Design for assembly is a plus.
Strong cross-group collaboration with focus on solving complex problems
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
