As the Senior Business Planner
on the Xbox Devices Marketing Team
, you will support the Xbox Console
business. You will help drive informed decision making from early stage product development to lifecycle management, and from strategic planning to marketing execution.

As part of your responsibilities, you will identify growth initiatives, and make recommendations on how best to pursue those opportunities. In addition, you will be responsible for driving recommendations for volume, SKU
mix, pricing, and promotions to maximize business performance. In close partnership with product marketing, you will develop holistic, data driven recommendations for product improvement. Your recommendations will be based of deep customer understanding, market research, trend analyses, quantitative models and industry benchmarks. Your insights will inform our overall business plan, product, and strategy.
This role must work in close partnership with product marketing, business insights (BI), finance and field teams to be successful. We are looking for someone who is phenomenal at cross team collaboration, and who has a history of solving tough problems in complex environments.

with other business planning teams to create an integrated Xbox
with finance, BI, and operations to bring disparate data together for analysis
demand forecasts for new, and existing devices; across geos, products & SKUs
sales results relative to forecast, identify causes of deviation, and recommend actions
opportunities and develop actionable plans for how we optimize SKU
research and analysis, with the BI team, to develop deep consumer understanding
new business, product, and market opportunities
customer life time value analysis and ROI
analysis for investments
o 5+ years' experience in consulting, data analysis, finance, forecasting, and/or market research
, or a Master's
degree in Statistics
in regression, simulation, forecasting, and data visualization
, R, SPSS
, or other statistical software
communication and collaboration skills
ability to create and articulate a strategy, influence others, and drive planning
strategic thinking, analytical skills and problem identification skills
experience in preparation and delivery of executive level presentations
, and/or the Games Industry
