If you are a skilled business manager with a data analysis and finance background, who is both knowledgeable and passionate about gaming, we have a fantastic career opportunity for you. This unique role will provide you with a rich canvas to evolve how the business is measured and evaluated. You'll work to improve profitability and own the creation of our quarterly, annual, and long-term financial plans. You'll also drive a deeper understanding of customer behavior, as well as improve how we communicate that customer behavior throughout the organization.

Unlike other Xbox Games Store business manager positions focused on specific lines of business, this position is focused on the Games Store in its entirety. You'll work closely with the director and senior finance manager as you help advance our rhythm of business and financial planning output.

Responsibilities:
o Drive our Games Store RoB process via:
o revenue forecasting. variance analysis, and performance communications
o user-level analysis on engagement, tenure, purchasing behavior and more
o extracting and summarizing key business insights on an ongoing basis
o Analyze service usage and other metrics to inform business planning
o Forecast, track, and develop a deeper understanding of Xbox Games Store customers
o Forecast and track monthly connected consoles to develop improved attach metrics
o Build and maintain a well-documented and constantly evolving view of our key financial deliverables (e.g. forecast, budgets, and long-range plans)
o Create and drive a well-informed plan to increase our gross margin percentage

Skills Required:
o 5+ years of finance and customer analysis experience
o P&L management expertise
o Solid relationship and communication skills working with senior managers and Microsoft-wide groups
o Ability to drive results within a matrixed environment via cross-group collaboration
o Strong executive presence and business maturity
o Highly developed RoB management skills coupled with a general understanding of the gaming industry
o Ability to use PowerPoint to tell a succinct business story based on data analysis
o Ability to effectively develop key procedures that facilitate efficient planning, reporting, and control processes

This position will require some limited travel, both domestic and international.
