This unique role will provide you with a rich canvas to drive the business forward and have impact including both long-term strategic planning and near-term design and execution of annual business plans for our Games on Demand digital game service.

Summary of Position:
This position is half of a two person team responsible for our Games on Demand line of business within Xbox Store. In this role you will be responsible for the continued growth and evolution of the full digital games download business as we adapt to gamers' changing tastes and needs. You'll also be responsible for helping the larger Games Store chart the best path forward in its ultimate goal of winning fans for Microsoft.

Key functions of the role include, but are not limited to the following:
o Deep data analysis to inform ever improving revenue forecasting and customer behavior understanding
o Driving strategic initiatives to grow the business for the Xbox Games Store
o Long range business planning, including financial modeling of new strategies and tactics
o Fiscal year rhythm of the business ownership
o Delivering on annual, monthly, and weekly revenue commitments

As the co-owner of the Games on Demand P&L, you'll be responsible for driving revenue and profitability growth, developing competitive strategies, evolving our pricing strategy, and assisting in tradeoff decisions amongst other lines of business.

Responsibilities consist of:
o Driving our Games on Demand Rhythm of Business process:
o Revenue forecasting
o Revenue actuals vs. forecast variance analysis communication
o Revenue recovery activity if necessary
o User level analysis on engagement, tenure, purchasing behavior and more
o Extracting and summarizing key business insights on an ongoing basis
o Facilitating internal and external Game Publishing partner evangelism and collaboration
o Strategic framing and modeling of potential Xbox Games Store features or strategies
o Collaborating with marketing to determine efficacy of programs
o Analyzing service usage and other metrics to develop business intelligence to guide business planning
o Acting as one of two internal "subject matter experts" and external faces of Games on Demand
o Developing and championing effective plans to address the best market opportunities, communicating across the organization and gaining broad consensus and approval
o Working on ad-hoc projects as needed to meet the changing business environment

Key Skills Required:
o 5+ years of ecommerce and customer analysis experience
o Solid relationship and communication skills in working with senior managers and Microsoft-wide groups
o Ability to drive results within a matrixed environment via cross group collaboration
o Strong Executive presence and business maturity
o P&L management experience
o Commerce management expertise
o Highly developed business management skills coupled with a broad understanding of the gaming industry
o Ability to use PowerPoint to tell a succinct business story based on data analysis
o Ability to effectively develop key procedures that facilitate efficient planning, reporting and control processes

This position will require some limited travel, both domestic and international.
