Do you want to impact the outcome of Microsoft's largest events? Then the Business Operations team for Microsoft Events, Marketing, is the right place for you. You will be responsible for the utilization of data to drive analytics and insight for event measurement, actionable diagnostics, key performance indicators and operational process efficiencies. You will work with a dynamic group of people who will rely on your expertise to help them implement and deliver measurable event results against the event objectives. Responsible for event business and operations management including:
o Become subject matter expert on an event budget management tool
o Partner with internal team and suppliers for event budget management, reconciliation, and analysis.
o Work with teams to develop the right business processes & metrics to execute and measure the business by.
o Support Vendor Management Program that includes vendor metrics, KPI reporting, and scorecards.
o Effectively communicate and present to key leaders of the organization.
o Develop actionable diagnostics to implement and deliver measurable results.
o Develop, package, and communicate results and best practices in support of and to improve the execution of events.
o Leverage internal data analytics, audience research, and measurement analytics to generate actionable insights.
o Building close working relationships within and across the marketing org to develop and deliver event measurement and insights with maximum efficiency.
o Support the implementation of the global marketing measurement framework and adapt and/or expand as necessary for consistency in measuring, projecting and reporting event performance and investment guidance.

Qualifications: Degree in Business. MBA and/or relevant graduate degree desirable. 8+ years related experience preferably in global or multi-national businesses, including time in finance, marketing analytics, research, and/or business planning. Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor applied to a wide variety of business and marketing problems. Demonstrated success at structuring, managing and coordinating complex cross-team projects and processes with multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated success using research and analytics to drive insights and strategic implications that lead to business decisions. Intermediate or advanced writing and communication skills. Experience and proven ability to work in team environments and matrix organizations. Intermediate or Advanced persuasive presentation skills. Advanced process management skills, Advanced Excel skills, Advanced risk assessment and contingency planning skills, Advanced financial evaluation skills. Positive Interpersonal skills are essential
