The Xbox team is working to deliver amazing entertainment experiences - from gaming to music, video and more available via Xbox consoles and other Microsoft devices. We deliver these experiences in a number of ways to consumers, including subscriptions like Xbox Live Gold.

As leader of the Xbox Subscriptions Business Management team, you will be responsible for creating and driving plans to grow the Gold subscriptions business. You will partner closely with engineering and other teams in marketing to do so. You will be responsible for managing the rhythm of the business, and driving plans and business insights. In this role you will proactively identify and develop action plans for issues that impact our business goals, drive cross team actions and influence strategy decisions. You will develop capabilities around data and insights to enable higher fidelity of decision making and drive close partnerships with marketing, business analytics, finance and engineering teams.

Specific responsibilities include:
o Business Planning - Developing fiscal year operating plans including goals, budgets, and key performance indicators.
o Strategic Planning - Developing long-range plans and critical initiatives necessary to achieve them; landing with partners in finance, engineering and marketing.
o Business Management - Own global rhythm of business, forecasting, business insights and championing priority actions to optimize results.
o Team Leadership - Coach and grow a high performing team and steward thoughtful career planning with employees.
o Business Insights - Drive business insights pertaining to the Gold subscriptions business and its drivers and customer life time value
o Customer and Industry insights - Drive market insights pertaining to trends across user volume, revenue, competitive dynamics and consumer behavior. Define and drive primary quantitative research and land recommendations
o Deep Quantitative Analysis - Conceptualize business impact models and drive complex analysis of to assess new opportunities, market and customer dynamics

This role requires strong business acumen and analytical skills with an instinct for and appreciation of the importance of customer experience and subscription business dynamics.

Qualifications
o 7+ years of business management or strategic planning experience required
o Background in software & services delivery models preferred
o Demonstrated ability to develop and manage high-performing quantitative and analytical teams
o Knowledge of statistical and numerical analysis preferred
o Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical skills and problem identification / resolution skills
o Deep strategic planning and financial analysis experience and aptitude
o Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to effectively lead v-teams and to articulate complex topics at varying levels of detail
o Experience leading subscriptions businesses strongly preferred
o Passion for entertainment
o MBA degree preferred
