The Microsoft Device team is looking for an Audience Marketing Manager, who will help shape Microsoft's vision and market presence. You are passionate and will develop a group of people who will love speak of the product with great pride and authenticity about the apps and services it delivers, helps them be better at what they do.

Job scope includes understanding deeply the targeted audience, telling their stories and creating powerful narratives that drive momentum, and architecting the proper marketing mix (social, digital demand gen, hands on events, community engagement...) to drive broad adoption with the targeted audience.

Amplifying voice of customer through social media, social listening & responding, forum participation, and influencer strategy & execution
Thought leadership in designing campaigns, programs, and offers that inspire the targeted audience
Developing success stories and promoting to drive awareness
Creating offers and developing analytics for long-term customer engagement and value creation
Defining our event strategy by audience segment resulting in broad awareness and momentum
Establishing breakthrough partnerships to accelerate adoption
Working closely with the field to drive one consistent story from online to in-person engagements

Proven thought leadership and results leading marketing for Enterprise hardware products and/or services over the past 7+ years
Exceptional listener, an exceptional storyteller and an exceptional outbound marketer.
A deep understanding of customer research, audience targeting and digital demand generation techniques, both current and emerging, with the ability to translate marketing needs into program execution
A track record of exceptional partnering across a wide-array of internal groups, agencies, executive stakeholders and external partners
An entrepreneurial spirit that is passionate about building businesses within a fast paced environment, while changing the way customers perceive our brand and our product
MBA preferred, but not required.
