The Customer Contributor team is looking for a seasoned Software Development Manager who is passionate about making contributing on Amazon fun and rewarding. The Software Development Manager is someone who is excited to experiment and prove out the contributor flywheel, while helping shoppers discover new products and make more confident purchase decisions. We are looking for someone who can use both anecdotes and quantitative analysis to drive product software development. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline. - Experience managing teams, building processes, project management, and release schedule. - 5+ years of relevant engineering experience - 3+ years of people management experience· Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions. · Experience managing global projects · Excellent oral and written
