We invite you to explore the Channel and Intellectual Property Protection (CHIPP) services Risk Analytics Manager position at Microsoft Redmond. As Risk Analytics Manager , you will help shape CHIPP initiatives to combat piracy and fraud. This includes engagement in tooling decisions covering prevention, detection and remediation of intellectual property, proving new method concepts for CHIPP to adopt, and measurement and publication of protections and control effectiveness to business stakeholders across Microsoft. The business decision intel you deliver will be used to protect major business programs across Microsoft sales channels including modern go-to-market motions, OEM, Volume Licensing, Retail, and online channels including O365 and Azure. You will help plan, prioritize and develop the requirements for right-sized tools and analytics projects and engage directly with the delivery and engineering teams. Responsibilities: Establish clear scope and a comprehensive plan to realign appropriate CHIPP key performance and protections metrics for all channels and programs Work across protections services teams to design optimum protections and control BI for sharing with program and channel stakeholders across Microsoft Take lead in crafting narratives based on BI to enable risk managers to communicate with stakeholders the impacts that CHIPP is delivering to their specific business Leverage clear data to identify business insights, recast business results and scenarios to help address business challenges
Basic Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required. 8 years' minimum experience in Data Science, Statistics, Data Analysis, Mathematics, or Business Intelligence Preferred Qualifications: 8 years of experience in BI/reporting/analytics, strong passion for solving big challenges with demonstrated history of innovative thinking and problem-solving skills Strong skills and experience in SQL, Integration and Analysis Services and Power
