Amazon Web Services is searching for industry-leading Network Development Engineers to support Our Network Operations team in Seattle. We own delivering sustained network availability and stability, along with discovering new innovative ways to automate and scale our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of technical leadership, success driving complex issues to completion, and operating autonomously and/or collaboratively. A successful candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of networking concepts and theory. They will also have experience managing proactive engineering, network optimization, and operational support for a large-scale service provider or enterprise environment. The candidate will be expected to provide high quality network event management for Amazon's worldwide network. * A Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or equivalent experience is manadatory * Excellent IP networking fundamentals and experience in application of IP protocols - A relevant degree in a related technical discipline or at least five years relevant experience in a large-scale network operations environment. - Excellent Ethernet and IP networking knowledge and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols. - Substantial background in large scale datacenter network implementations and support. - Significant past experience with the following protocols and concepts: BGP, OSPF,IS-IS, MPLS,
