CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide. We are looking for a passionate, high energy individual to help build the network that powers the world's largest online services. Within CO+I, the Datacenter Construction Delivery (DCD) team is responsible for delivering datacenter capacity for Microsoft's cloud business. We have a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. DCD is looking to fill the critical role of Lease Project Manager , which may be developed into Microsoft own greenfield construction Project Manager depending on regional Portfolio.

The role of the Lease Project Manager requires strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, ability to self-direct, strong background in data center design, engineering, controls, and operational requirements and an emphasis on project/construction management, datacenter lease market experience, client representation and project and Project level services. The Lease Project Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring delivery by the lease provider of the construction, commissioning and fit-out stage of the project for each site location to a Ready For Service (RFS) milestone
Experience/Skills/Education: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Project Management, or Construction Management. 5+ yrs. exp. of project construction management Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing multiple large multi-faceted projects Ability to independently manage deadlines and support staff Ability to influence cross-discipline teams Construction Health and Safety Knowledge Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills Datacenter experience preferred
