Amazon Employee Services is recruiting for an HR Support Advisor. This role provides end to end issue management to the HR community and is responsible for handling complex questions, recommending improvements to unclear bureaucratic HR processes and self-service tools, and providing expert advice on high-judgment, anomalous situations where our HR customers need a human touch. You will be required to provide in-depth HR knowledge, suggesting resources and contacts, while also making recommendations for moving forward. You have to be willing to question what is being asked/suggested to determine if you have found the best solution, while offering viable alternatives and seeking to understand the entire situation. You must be a champion for continuous improvement and passionate about the HR customer and employee experience. This includes challenging the status quo where appropriate; suggesting policy or language changes where clarity and accuracy can be improved; and flagging wasteful or

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience · 3+ years experience HR experience in HR shared services and/or center of excellence · Customer service orientation · Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict confidentiality standards · Highly organized, able to prioritize and work under pressure on a number of escalations at the same time · Strong relationship building skills · Demonstrated decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Proven experience working cross-functionally to solve complex
