In this role you will have broad knowledge of our analytical tools and will create reporting and analysis of key business metrics to drive business insight. You will write strategy papers to influence executive decision-making. You will Conduct deep dive analyses of business problems and formulate conclusions and recommendations to be presented to senior leadership or to business customers to support their regular or ad hoc requests. You will work closely with the software development teams, research and data science team members to ensure we are capturing and surfacing the right data and information to make optimal business decisions as we iterate on this new technology. You will also collaborate with senior leadership to track progress against goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, experience in developing reporting and analytical infrastructures, strong communication skills, an ability to work effectively with cross functional teams in a fast paced environment
· MS degree (or MBA) in an analytical field (engineering, math, statistics) · 3+ years of relevant work experience in business analytics, business intelligence, or comparable experience · Strong proficiency in relational databases - e.g. Redshift, Oracle SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse, etc. · Deep understanding of common business metrics and the ability to generate new ones as needed · Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams · An ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced and rapidly-changing
